Notes about Environmental Protection

Products marked with a garbage can with lines through it may not be disposed of with the normal household garbage at the end of their life cycle. They must be taken to a collection point for recycling electrical and electronic devices. The symbols of the garbage can with lines through it on the product, the instructions for use, or the packaging for the product are a reference to this. The raw materials used in these products can be recycled according to their designation marking. By reusing, these materials, recycling them, or other forms of recycling old devices, you make an important contribution to the protection of our environment. Please ask at your local city hall about available collection points for recycling.

Batteries do not belong in the household garbage!

Batteries do not belong in the household garbage!

Each user in the EC region (and in many other regions) is legally obligated to take batteries to a collection point in his/her community or to a collection point at a store. Batteries are then taken to be processed in an environmentally friendly manner. Batteries containing dangerous materials are designated by this symbol and by chemical symbols (Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead).
