Porter Steam Locomotive

The American locomotive builder H. K. Porter exported especially small locomotives all over the world. Porter locomotives went to Hawaii and to the Philippines as well as to many American logging railroads. They were also used on mining railroads in Arizona and Mexico as well as at the construction site for the Panama Canal. This detailed and weatherproof model of this famous locomotive has a rich array of features: Factory-installed MTS decoder for analog and digital operation, three-position selector switch for the mode of operation, encapsulated drive system, two axles powered, a powerful motor, six electrical pickups, a voltage limiting system, a smoke generator, headlights that change over automatically with the direction of travel, and a figure of a locomotive engineer. Length 25 cm / 9-7/8".
