Product description

All four of the class HGe 2/2 locomotive delivered in 1916 immediately assumed the task of pulling electric trains on the 3.75 km / 2.34 mile long Schöllen Railroad. After the Schöllen Railroad was merged into the Furka-Oberalp Railroad, these quaint electric locomotives were painted in the color and lettering scheme of the FO. Not one of these interesting units has been preserved. The LGB model has been given a new road number and machine number. It is very high quality, and prototypically painted and lettered. It can be run with adhesion drive as well as with rack drive. It has an MTS decoder, a selector switch for the mode of operation, headlights that change over with the direction of travel, and cab lighting. The engineer's cab doors can be opened. The model also has a powerful Bühler motor, working catenary operation, a voltage limiting system, 2 general-purpose sockets with a locking feature, and 8 electrical pickups. The car set to go with this locomotive can be found in the LGB assortment (LGB item number 36641). And, with the LGB rack system (item numbers 10210, 10220) you can overcome steep grades prototypically. Length over the buffers approximately 28.5 cm / 11-1/4".
