Product description

The LGB model reproduces the NWE (Nordhausen – Wernigerod Railroad) steam locomotive, road number 21 prototypically as it looked when delivered around 1940 to the NWE (The NWE was a predecessor of the present day HSB, Harz Narrow Gauge Railroad). It is particularly striking because of its finely executed, extensive paint scheme. Even the engineer's cab is done in several colors inside. Technically, this locomotive also has an incredible amount to offer: an MTS decoder, a Bühler motor, 8 electrical pickups, 3 axles powered, traction tires, a selector switch for the mode of operation, extensive sound features such as a bell, whistle, brake sounds, air pump, and much more. It also has a smoke generator, headlights that change over with the direction of travel, a smoke box door that can be opened, engineer's cab doors that can be opened, engineer's cab lighting, a flickering light from the fire box, general-purpose socket, etc. Length over the buffers 41 cm / 16-1/8".
