DR Dump Car Set

Product description

Dump cars are and were used in very large quantities at quarries, mines, and even on logging railroads. They were used to transport sand, clay, coal, ore, and also dirt. This LGB set with 3 cars prototypically reproduces typical dump cars for the Muskau Logging Railroad in Era III. All of the cars are extensively lettered, even on the ends of the frames, and have a prototypical, removable load insert. All of the cars have metal wheels. All of the cars are individually packaged. Length over the buffers for each car 17 cm / 6-11/16".
