MTS Reversing Loop Module

Have the reversing loop on your digital layout switch automatically and without short-circuits. This is better for your digital equipment and, of course, for the rolling stock. An added benefit of the reversing loop module: multiple reversing loops can be used on the layout at the same time. Normal reversing loop modules cause a short-circuit when a train enters them and the resulting voltage dip triggers a polarity reversal, e.g. 55080. The new MTS reversing loop module, on the other hand, switches without a short-circuit, so there is not interruption of the voltage on the track. Overloading the MTS control center with deliberately produced short-circuit is now a thing of the past. This is especially beneficial for track components, such as loco decoders, switch decoders, and the on-board electronics of the locomotives and cars. Notes: Due to technical progress, the previous MTS reversing loop (LGB 55080) is no longer available, having been superseded by the new item 55081. Only suitable for analog operation in certain conditions. This product is not weather-proof and must be protected from damp. 80 x 70 x 20 mm / 3-1/8” x 2-3/4” x 3/4”.
