The big starter set for the perfect way to get started in the digital LGB world with its many ways to play. The set consists of a freight train with a steam locomotive, an oval of track, and the large CS2 digital central controller. The locomotive is painted and lettered for the DR in Era III. It has an mfx/DCC sound decoder with many functions, a smoke unit, and headlights that can all be controlled in digital operation. The locomotive has a powerful motor geared to both wheel sets and traction tires. The set has two stake cars painted and lettered for the DR in Era III. The set has an oval of track, the large CS2 digital central controller for mfx and DCC operation, a large 100 VA switched mode power pack, and all of the necessary hookup wire. Train length over the buffers 71 cm / 28".
